Reviews and Ratings
I had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The rooms are quiet and very nice, equipped with a sink, refrigerator, microwave, and lots of drawer storage. The staff always went above and beyond to provide a fantastic experience, although I encountered a rude receptionist once. The location is ideal, with plenty of dining and shopping options within walking distance. However, the dining experience could be more convenient, and housekeeping knocking on the door before 10 am was a bit bothersome.
I had a wonderful stay at the hotel. The rooms were positively palatial, controlled by individual numbered thermostats, very nice, modern, and in motor. The service was top-notch, with all staff being very kind and helpful. The location was perfect for my itinerary, within walking distance of great attractions. The dining was delicious with prompt service. However, the facilities were average, and there were some minor drawbacks in terms of value for money.
I absolutely loved my stay at this hotel! The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and I was thrilled to be upgraded to a very nice suite at no extra charge, which was located in a detached building behind the hotel. The service was exceptional, from the reception staff to the room maids, who were very friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for me, as I was touring the Frank Lloyd Wright historic home and Hemingway childhood home, both just a few minutes away in Oak Park. The dining options were delicious, with prompt service and courteous staff. Overall, a wonderful boutique hotel celebrating its 90th birthday.
